Personal information' means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable. Adviso's Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected and/or held by Adviso.
Scope
This notice describes how Adviso collects and uses personal data. This notice applies to all users of our apps, websites, features, or other services anywhere in the world, unless covered by a separate privacy notice.
Not all information requested, collected, and processed by us is "Personal Information" as it does not identify you as a specific natural person. This will include majority of "User Generated Content" that you provide us with the intention of sharing with other users. Such "Non-Personal Information" is not covered by this privacy policy. However, as non-personal information may be used in aggregate or be linked with existing personal information; when in this form it will be treated as personal information. As such, this privacy policy will list both types of information for the sake of transparency.
In some situation users may provide us with personal information without us asking for it, or through means not intended for the collection of particular types of information. Whilst we may take reasonable steps to protect this data, the user will have bypassed our systems, processes, and control and thus the information provided will not be governed by this privacy policy.
Data Collection
The Data we collect are:- Data provided by users to Adviso, such as during account creation
- Data created during use of our services, app usage, and device data (we don't collect location data).
- Data from other sources, such as third party APIs

Data provided by users. This includes:
- User profile: We collect data when users create or update their Adviso accounts. This may include their name, email, phone number, login name and password, address, profile picture. We may use the photos submitted by users to verify their identities, such as through facial recognition technologies.”
- Demographic data: We may collect demographic data about users, including through user surveys. In some countries, we may also receive demographic data about users from third parties.
- User content: We collect the information users submit when they post on the Adviso network. This may include text, photographs or other recordings collected by users.
- Financial Information: payment processor details (e.g. UPI ID, bank details)
- User Generated Content: chat descriptions and attachments, doubt description, user profiles, user reviews, etc.
Information that we collect from others
Users can give permission for us to connect to their account on other platforms to collect personal information. This includes but is not limited to Apple and Google. Information collected will be governed by this Privacy Policy. Users can stop us from collecting data from other platforms by removing our access on the other platform or by contacting our support team.
Users have the ability to invite non-users to our platform by providing contact details such as email address. In these situations, the information will be collected and stored by us to contact the non-user and to prevent abuse of the invite systems.
Your payment provider may transmit information about the payment that we may collect or process.

Data sharing and disclosure
Some of Adviso' products, services, and features require that we share data with other users or at a user’s request. We may also share data with our affiliates, subsidiaries, and partners, for legal reasons or in connection with claims or disputes.

- to facilitate the creation of a User Contract (see Terms of Service for more information);

- to answer enquiries about our services, or to respond to a complaint;
- to promote our other programs, products or services which may be of interest to you (unless you have opted out from such communications);
- to allow for debugging, testing and otherwise operate our platforms;
- to conduct data analysis, research and otherwise build and improve our platforms;
- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
- if otherwise permitted or required by law; or
- for other purposes with your consent, unless you withdraw your consent for these purposes.
- With Adviso service providers and business partners Adviso provides data to vendors, consultants, marketing partners, research firms, and other service providers or business partners. These include:
- Payment processors and facilitators
- Background check and identity verification providers (drivers and delivery partners only)
- Cloud storage providers
- Marketing partners and marketing platform providers, including social media advertising services
- Data analytics providers
- Research partners, including those performing surveys or research projects in partnership with Adviso or on Adviso' behalf
- Vendors that assist Adviso to enhance the safety and security of its apps
- Consultants, lawyers, accountants, and other professional service providers
- For legal reasons or in the event of a dispute Adviso may share users’ personal data if we believe it’s required by applicable law, regulation, operating license or agreement, legal process or governmental request, or where the disclosure is otherwise appropriate due to safety or similar concerns. This includes sharing personal data with law enforcement officials, public health officials, other government authorities, airports (if required by the airport authorities as a condition of operating on airport property), or other third parties as necessary to enforce our Terms of Service, user agreements, or other policies; to protect Adviso' rights or property or the rights, safety, or property of others; or in the event of a claim or dispute relating to the use of our services. If you use another person’s credit card, we may be required by law to share your personal data, including order information, with the owner of that credit card. This also includes sharing personal data with others in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.

- Analyzing site traffic and trends, and generally understanding the online behaviors and interests of people who interact with our services
Data retention and deletion
Adviso retains user profile, transaction, and other personal data for as long as a user maintains their Adviso account.
